Mwalimu's chrome activity is a trading and aggregation business, not a Mwalimu-owned mining asset. It applies the same logistics, quality-control, working-capital and documentary discipline used in the coal business.

Ore and concentrate are purchased from South African producers, small miners and permit holders across the Bushveld Complex.

Consolidate
Parcels are blended to a contracted grade, converting smaller lots into shippable cargoes.

City Deep
Cargo is containerised at Johannesburg's principal inland dry port.
- 04
Durban
Containers are railed or hauled to the port and shipped against confirmed letters of credit.
Grade, tonnage and pricing are agreed for each parcel against the prevailing market index.
